TECHPLUG was founded with the intention of addressing health disparities in vulnerable populations. We believe all populations should have access to tech that decreases barriers to entry. We believe technologies should increase the quality of life and health without leaving populations behind.

At TECHPLUG, our conversations spark real change. The Lab is where these transformative dialogues happen, creating experiences that ripple through our community and beyond. We tackle the issues that matter: sex trafficking, disparities facing Native American communities, advocacy that moves the needle, uplifting marginalized voices, and exploring food as medicine.

Kornelius is an advocate for developing equitable health solutions for vulnerable populations. He has extensive experience in Economic Development, Tech transfer, and business development.
Melanie Hendricks
Senior Associate
Melanie is passionate about improving clinical outcomes for all individuals, regardless of socioeconomic status, through fostering partnerships with innovative healthcare companies. Her background includes business development, pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology. She holds a Doctoral Degree in Pharmacy from South College and a Master’s in Business Administration from Auburn University Montgomery.
